I had exactly the same issue. After pulling my hair and banging my head agianst the desk for several hours, I found our it was because of the hostname.
My hostname for VCSA include "_" (underscore), and once I removed it, it worked like a charm.
Your situation may not be the same, but I thought I'd share.
